Ghaziabad, 26

Oct (HS): Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath stated on Sunday that

the state is now reaching new heights in the realm of health care, with the

recently opened Yashoda Medicity in Ghaziabad serving as a prime example. Speaking

at the inaugural ceremony of Yashoda Medicity in Indirapuram on Sunday,

President Droupadi Murmu was joined by Defence Minister Rajnath Singh.

Adityanath stated that the state is swiftly moving towards investment,

innovation, and excellent facilities in the healthcare sector. This facility

serves as an excellent illustration of this.

It is more than simply a hospital; it is a new definition of world-class

healthcare facilities. According to an official release, Adityanath stated that

the institute will not only serve the inhabitants of the NCR, but will also

provide state-of-the-art medical services for all of Uttar Pradesh.

People from

the state no longer need to travel to Delhi for treatment because world-class

healthcare is now accessible in Ghaziabad, he added. When the institute's third

ground-breaking ceremony was held in 2022, Dr. P N Arora, the managing director

of Yashoda Medicity, signed an MoU with Invest UP to build a state-of-the-art

hospital in Ghaziabad with all kinds of super speciality facilities,

particularly for cancer treatment, for which people had previously gone abroad,

he said. While no one expected it to be achievable so fast, Dr. Arora, Dr.

Upasana Arora, and their entire team made it a reality in just three years, the

chief minister emphasized Uttar Pradesh's shifting investment environment and

the strength of its medical infrastructure.

According to

the statement, the facility has also created 5,000 employment possibilities for

physicians, paramedics, nursing staff, and other healthcare workers. India has

undertaken historic reforms in the health sector under Prime Minister Narendra

Modi's leadership in the previous 11 years, with Uttar Pradesh also making

significant progress in this regard, Adityanath stated.

So far, 42

new medical institutions have been created in the state, with two AIIMS

(Gorakhpur and Rae Bareli) now operational, he added. The double-engine

government ensures that every person receives exceptional healthcare, as

achieving life's goals is only feasible with a healthy body, according to Adityanath.
