Kolkata, 21 October (H.S.): A case of molestation of a woman under the pretext of bursting crackers has come to light on the night of Kali Puja. The incident occurred in Garfa police station area of Kolkata. Based on the victim's complaint, the police have arrested the accused youth.

According to police sources, the victim was bursting crackers with some of her friends on Monday night when she was molested. Allegedly, the accused youth is the elder brother of one of the victim's friend and was also bursting crackers with the same group. Under the pretext of bursting crackers, he committed indecent acts with the woman.

Following the incident, the victim filed a complaint at Garfa police station on Monday night. Upon receiving the complaint, the police immediately began an investigation. The accused youth was arrested on Tuesday morning.

The police are investigating the case and trying to determine who else was present at the scene at the time of the incident.
