Udhampur, 21 October (H.S.): As a noble gesture, the Inner Wheel Club, under the leadership of District Chairman, Preeti Khajuria, extended relief to flood-affected families in Darsu and Gudar villages.

On this occasion, the club distributed 30 special relief kits to the victims of the recent floods.

Each kit contained essential items including a tent, a blanket and a blazer, aimed at providing temporary shelter and warmth to the affected families.

Speaking on the occasion, Preeti Khajuria said, “Inner Wheel has always been committed to social service. This is our small effort to support the affected families during this time of disaster by providing them temporary shelter and basic amenities to protect them from the cold.”

“The relief kits were distributed directly to the needy families in the rain-affected areas to ensure timely assistance,” she added.

The Inner Wheel Club of Udhampur has been an active participant in community welfare for over three decades, consistently contributing to various social initiatives across the district.

Among others who were present included Ashwani Khajuria, Mohini Baigra and Manju Baru.
