Noida, 21 Oct (HS): Two people living at different places in Noida

committed suicide due to mental stress. The police reached the spot and are

investigating the matter. The media in-charge of Police Commissioner Laxmi

Singh said that Mahesh (50), a resident of Sarfabad village in the

police station sector 113 area, committed suicide by hanging himself from a

branch of a tree near Sarfabad village on Tuesday. He said that after receiving

information about the incident, the police reached the spot and sent the body

for post-mortem. He said that during the investigation, the police found out

that the deceased was under mental stress for some days. He lived in Sarfabad

village. The family members of the deceased have been informed about the

incident. The police are investigating the matter.

The Police

Commissioner's media officer stated that Kartik (30), son of Nikhil, a

resident of Agahpur Village, Sector 49, committed suicide by hanging

himself from a fan at his home on Tuesday. He stated that he lived in Agahpur

Village with his family and was originally from Kolkata. He stated that his

wife had left him a few days ago and gone to her parents' home. Police

have sent the body for a post-mortem. The media officer stated that

further legal action is being taken in this case.
