Despite recording a season-best time of 12.93 seconds, Wen described her performance as “average” but emphasized the outstanding organisation by India. She stated, “This is my second event here. The result today was average as I felt a little weak midway, but I must commend India’s sincere efforts.”

Wen highlighted the world-class facilities and overall atmosphere, saying, “The race venue arranged by the organisers is the best. Therefore, I want to thank the Indian government and the dedicated volunteers.”

Her remarks reinforce the growing global appreciation from athletes for India’s hosting capabilities. The accessibility, volunteer support, and state-of-the-art amenities have made Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium a perfect stage for the world’s top para-athletes.

Wen, who is also scheduled to compete in individual and team events, promised to deliver her best performances, saying, “I will do my utmost to win more medals for China in both individual and team contests.”

Wen’s admiration is a strong testament to India's commitment to conducting a world-class championship with excellence in all aspects.
