Bhubaneswar, 2 October (H.S.): Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi expressed his gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman for releasing an advance installment of tax devolution worth ₹4,601 crore to the state.

Majhi said the timely support from the Centre highlights the spirit of strong Centre-State cooperation and will help accelerate development and welfare programmes in Odisha, particularly during the festive season.

He further assured that the state government is committed to utilizing the funds efficiently and transparently to ensure maximum benefit for the people.
