Pradesh Governor Anandiben Patel was met by state ministers, dignitaries,

senior administrative and police officers at Raj Bhavan on Sunday and

congratulated her. Among those who met the Governor and congratulated her were

State Science and Technology Minister Anil Kumar, MSME Minister Rakesh Sachan,

Minister of State for Higher Education Rajni Tiwari, Director SGPGI Padma Shri

Prof. RK Dhiman, Vice Chancellor KGMU Padma Prof. Sonia Nityanand, Director IIM

Kolkata Prof. Alok Rai, Vice Chancellors of universities, State Information

Commissioner Dilip Agnihotri, Balveer Singh Mann from Umeed Sanstha and

children of the Sanstha and a large number of dignitaries including journalist

friends.

Earlier,

the Governor was met by Officer on Special Duty to the Governor (Additional

Chief Secretary level), Dr. Sudhir Mahadev Bobde, along with all the officers,

employees, and children of the Raj Bhavan, and extended Diwali greetings. On

this occasion, the Governor distributed gifts and sweets to the outsourcing

staff working at the Raj Bhavan, congratulating them on the occasion, and

wished them a happy Diwali.
