Lucknow,
18 Oct (HS): On
Saturday, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh stated that BrahMos had access to
every inch of Pakistani land and that what transpired during Operation Sindoor
was only a prelude. BrahMos has become a
major pillar of India's military forces, reinforcing the country's conviction
that it can make its aspirations a reality, Singh said after he and Uttar
Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath launched the first batch of missiles
made at the BrahMos Aerospace complex here.
According to a release, BrahMos Aerospace successfully built the first
batch of missile systems at its new integration and test facility in Lucknow.
The inauguration is not only a watershed
moment for the Uttar Pradesh Defence Industrial Corridor (UPDIC), but it will
also give additional impetus to India's determination to attain self-reliance
in defense production, according to officials.
This
cutting-edge BrahMos Aerospace unit, which opened on May 11, includes all
current facilities for missile integration, testing, and final quality
checks. Following successful testing,
the missiles are ready for deployment by the Indian armed services. The event was attended by Uttar Pradesh Deputy
