Bishwanath (Assam), October 18 (HS): In a major crackdown against drug trafficking, Satiya Police seized contraband worth over one lakh rupees and arrested two drug peddlers.

Acting on a tip-off, a joint team of Satiya and Biswanath Police conducted a surprise raid at the residence of a youth named Dipankar Rajkhowa in Mudoi village. During the operation, police recovered 85 kilograms of ganja from the house.

The arrested individuals have been identified as Dipankar Rajkhowa and Suren Bora. Police have initiated interrogation of both the accused to trace the source and network of the drug supply.------------
