Ayodhya,
18 Oct (HS): The ninth Deepotsav is set to add a new social tradition to
Ayodhya's history. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has decided to visit Nishad
and slum families the day after Deepotsav and celebrate Diwali with them. This
Chief Minister's event is being organized with the message that no lamp should
go off in any home in the city of Lord Shri Ram.
Chief
Minister will visit Hanumangarhi and Ramlala: On the main day of Deepotsav,
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will first visit the Hanumangarhi temple to
offer prayers to Lord Hanuman, followed by a special prayer at the court of Ram
Lalla. The Chief Minister will pray to Lord Shri Ram for the state's
prosperity, peace, and public welfare. After this, he will meet with prominent
saints and abbots of Ayodhya to receive their blessings and will also visit the
Kar Sevaks.
Fruits
distribution and lighting of lamps in Nishad Basti: After visiting Ram Lalla,
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will visit Abhiramdas Nagar (Nishad Basti) in
Ward No. 1, where he will celebrate Diwali with local families. During this
time, the Chief Minister will share a community meal and join approximately 400
people in the celebration by lighting lamps. The Chief Minister will visit the
homes of Nishad families to light lamps, distribute sweets to children, and
interact with some senior citizens to extend Diwali greetings.
Celebrating
Diwali with children in the slum Devkali: Following this, Chief Minister Yogi
Adityanath will visit the slum area of Ward Devkali, where he will encourage
children and share the joy of Diwali by lighting lamps with them. This Chief
Minister's program will send a powerful message of harmony and participation
among the poor, disadvantaged, and backward sections of society.
The
administration made elaborate preparations: District Magistrate Nikhil Tikaram
Funde stated that the administration has made complete preparations for this
special program of the Chief Minister. Special arrangements are being made for
security, cleanliness, lighting, and decoration in the settlements so that local
residents do not face any inconvenience. The Municipal Corporation, Electricity
Department, and sanitation workers are constantly active. Road repairs,
lighting, and beautification work are progressing rapidly in areas where the
Chief Minister is scheduled to visit.
According
to officials, this program by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath brings to life the
spirit of the festival of lights, which is rooted in a commitment to include
every community, every locality, and every individual. The Chief Minister's
objective is clear: the festival of lights should not be limited to the
glittering streets of Ayodhya, but rather, its light should reach every
locality and every home.
