Bhubaneswar, 17 October (H.S.): Chanchal Rana officially assumed office on Friday as the 27th Vice Chairman of the Bhubaneswar Development Authority (BDA).

On his first day, Rana held a meeting with senior BDA officials to discuss key developmental priorities and outline a roadmap for the city’s future growth. Emphasizing collective efforts, he highlighted the importance of transforming Bhubaneswar into a modern, smart, and clean city.

During the meeting, Rana reviewed ongoing urban development schemes and directed officials to identify areas requiring special attention to enhance the city’s overall development. Discussions also covered upcoming action plans and strategies to strengthen infrastructure and urban governance.

BDA Secretary Manas Ranjan Padhi and other senior officers present at the meeting reaffirmed their commitment to implementing the state government’s policies and vision for Bhubaneswar’s urban development.
