Guwahati, 16 October (HS): Assam Chief Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma on Thursday announced that the investigation into the death of beloved artist Zubeen Garg has moved a step forward.

The Chief Minister stated that on October 21, the Singapore Police authorities will hold a meeting with the Assam Police team led by ADGP and SIT head Munna Prasad Gupta.

Dr. Sarma reiterated the state’s firm commitment, saying, “Our collective resolve remains — Justice for Zubeen will prevail.”

He further expressed confidence that the ongoing investigation, strengthened by international cooperation, will ensure justice and dignity for the late artist.
