Ayodhya, 15 Oct (HS): There is tremendous
enthusiasm in Ayodhya for the 2025 Deepotsav. This year, more than 2,000
artists will showcase their art. Among them, approximately 500 artists from
Uttar Pradesh and other states will also participate. Approximately 300 local
artists from Ayodhya will also participate in this grand event.
Cultural performances will
be held on seven small stages along with large and medium stages. Ashutosh
Dwivedi, advisor and special officer of the Ayodhya International Ramayana and
Vedic Research Institute, said that this time, one large stage, three medium
stages, and seven small stages are being constructed in Ayodhya. On these
stages, artists from across the country will mesmerize devotees with
performances of Awadhi and Bhojpuri bhajans and folk music.
There will be three types
of platforms for the devotees: Ashutosh Dwivedi, advisor and special officer of
the Ayodhya International Ramayana and Vedic Research Institute, said that
large and medium stages are being set up in the Ram Katha Park, at Tulsi Udyan,
Badi Devkali, and Guptar Ghat. These stages will stage grand plays based on
events from the life of Lord Shri Ram.
Artists' talent will be showcased
on seven small stages: Seven small stages are also being constructed to enable
devotees attending the festival of lights to listen to the Ramayana and to
promote talent. Artists from Ayodhya and surrounding districts will perform
traditional folk songs, dances, and dramas. This will provide local artists
with an opportunity to showcase their talents on a larger stage.
Artists will accompany the
tableaux and showcase cultural glimpses: The Deepotsav procession will include
22 magnificent tableaux. Artists will perform their art on and behind these
tableaux. These tableaux, based on various episodes from the Ramayana, will
provide a divine experience for devotees.
There will be a grand
confluence of culture in Ayodhya: During Deepotsav 2025, Ayodhya will not only
become a city of devotion and faith, but also a center of cultural diversity.
Resounding with the strains of Awadhi, Bhojpuri, Braj, and Phaguwa, Ayodhya
will showcase its eternal culture to the entire world.
