Man Injured In Nagrota Cylinder Blast Succumbs To Injuries


Jammu, 14 October (H.S.): A man who was critically injured in a domestic cylinder blast at his residence in Nagrota Sandhwan on September 28 has succumbed to his injuries at Government Medical College (GMC) Jammu.

The deceased has been identified as Om Prakash, 44, son of Thoru Ram.

According to police, Om Prakash, along with his wife Kamla Devi, 39, and daughter Khushi Devi, sustained burn injuries when an LPG cylinder exploded in their house.

All three were rushed to GMC Jammu for treatment, where Om Prakash was battling for life for over two weeks before he succumbed today.

Police have initiated inquest proceedings under Section 194 of the BNSS, and an Executive Officer has been assigned to carry out further investigation into the incident.
