Mumbai, 11 Oct (HS): A delegation of the Maha-Vikas

Aghadi will meet the State Election Commission and other officers of the

Commission, on October 14. Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Uddhav Thackeray and MNS

leader Raj Thackeray will remain present. Leaders of all other parties will

also attend the meeting.

Various parties have issues to be discussed with the

Election Commission before the local body polls are announced. Chief Minister

Devendra Fadnavis and Deputy Chief Ministers Eknath Shinde, and Ajit Pawar and

other party leaders of the ruling alliance have also been invited for the

meeting, MP Sanjay Raut informed the media. The Election Commission is a constitutional body, and MVA's efforts is to save the Constitution.

Raut said that a press conference will be held after

the meeting.
