Gandhinagar, October 11 (H.S.) – President Droupadi Murmu visited Dwarka in Gujarat today and paid obeisance at the feet of Lord Dwarkadhish.
The President offered heartfelt prayers to Lord Dwarkadhish for the happiness, peace, and prosperity of the people of India. With deep devotion, she performed Paduka Puja following traditional rituals and expressed a sense of spiritual fulfillment.
On this occasion, Tourism Minister Mulubhai Bera, District Collector Rajesh Tanna, Range IG Ashokkumar Yadav, Superintendent of Police Jayrajsinh Vala, Sub-Divisional Officer Amol Awate, Administrator and Deputy Collector Himanshu Chauhan welcomed the President by presenting her with an upperna (traditional shawl), a replica of the Dwarka Temple, flowers, a “Anugraham” incense stick made of tulsi, a gold-plated idol of Lord Dwarkadhish, and temple prasad.
President Murmu was accompanied by her daughter Itishree Murmu and other dignitaries.
