Jammu, 11 October (H.S.): National Conference (NC) leader Rajesh Gupta today accused the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) of trying to hide its failures of the past 11 years by diverting public attention and demanding a one-year progress report from the NC-led government.
In a statement issued, Gupta said that since October 16, 2024, when the NC government assumed office, the BJP has been playing cheap political games and resorting to harassment of the general public, besides interfering in every Government decision and delaying the implementation of key business rules.
“BJP cannot succeed through its negative tactics. Their actions are not just aimed at the NC but are directly demoralizing the general public, who are being denied political support despite electing a popular Government,” he said.
