Hooghly, 11 October (H.S.): During his two-day visit to Serampore, Alipurduar BJP MP Manoj Tigga met with party workers in Rishra on Saturday morning. He also visited the homes of several senior BJP workers and urged them to enter the political arena with full force. According to BJP sources, Manoj Tigga arrived at the Serampore Mandal 4 office in Rishra on Saturday and met with party workers. He then went to the office of Rishra Ward 10 councillor Manoj Singh. From there, he proceeded to the home of senior BJP leader Rakesh Singh. He then proceeded to the office of Rishra Ward 11 councillor Shashi Singh Jha, where he was warmly welcomed by BJP workers. The BJP MP also visited the home of Gopi Krishna Karnani, a well-known veteran BJP leader in Rishra, and met with him. Following this, the BJP MP held a meeting with workers from Serampore Mandal 5. At around 3:30 pm, the BJP MP left Serampore for his destination. BJP leader Rakesh Singh said that every BJP worker in Serampore assembly constituency is excited by the MP's two-day visit. The MP not only held organizational meetings but also met with old workers. This will have positive results in the upcoming assembly elections.
