(HS): Frequent interruptions in online portal and sever, the applicants under Mukhyamantri

Ladki Bahin Yojana are facing in completing the e-KYC procedure.

The State

Government has fixed November 30 as the last date for completing the procedure

for deriving benefit under the scheme. In case of failure, the eligible women

may be deprived of benefits not only under this scheme, but also may lose

benefits of other government schemes.

Under the Ladki

Bahin scheme, women get Rs 1,500 every month, The Government made e-KYC

mandatory, as a large number of women who were not eligible were found to have

been taking undue advantage of the scheme.

Besides

Amravati, women in Camp, Kothrud, Hadapsar in Pune district were seen standing

in long queues at the Service Centres. Those using mobile phones face errors or

problems in entering the generated OTP.
