Mumbai, 11 Oct (HS): The State Government has

declared 251 tehsils completely affected and 31 tehsils partially affected by

the heavy rains and floods, between June and September 2025. Those affected

will be extended support similar to a drought-affected regions. The orders to

this effect have been issued, Assistance and Rehabilitation Minister Makrand

Jadhav-Patil informed the media.

The damage caused include damage to crops, fertile

soil erosion, residential houses, loss of animals, damage to property etc. The

State Government has announced a special package, Jadhav said.

Between June and August crops on 26.69 lakh hectares

and in September, crops on about 30 lakh hectares were affected, Jadhav

informed the media.
