11 Oct (HS): Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya along

with a high level delegation including 43rd Sakya Tenzin Gyan Vajra

Rinpoche and 11 prominent Indian Buddhist monks left for Russia in an Indian

Air Force plane carrying the sacred Piprahwa relics of Lord Tathagata Buddha.

According to information received from the camp office of the Deputy Chief

Minister, Keshav Prasad Maurya left for New Delhi at 06 am today. He will

participate in the exhibition being organised from October 11-18 in Ilsta, the

capital of Kymykia Republic of Russia.

Prasad Maurya wrote on his social media account, It is a very fortunate

moment for me to bring the sacred Piprahwa relics of Lord Buddha to Russia. I

sincerely thank Prime Minister Narendra Modi for this opportunity.
