Guwahati (Assam), 11 October (HS): Assam Chief Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma reaffirmed his government’s unwavering commitment to ensuring equal opportunities for every girl in the state on the occasion of the International Day of the Girl Child.

In a heartfelt message shared on social media platform X, Dr. Sarma emphasized that each girl is unique and deserves to flourish in a safe, inclusive, and encouraging environment. He reiterated that the state government is determined to provide equal access to education and opportunities, enabling girls to learn, grow, and lead with confidence.

“Every girl is special,” the Chief Minister wrote, underlining the importance of nurturing the potential and dreams of young girls.
