New Delhi, October 11 (H.S.) – Ahead of the Bihar Assembly elections, the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) is engaged in discussions over seat sharing. On Saturday morning, meetings began at the residence of BJP President J.P. Nadda. The BJP Core Committee met in the morning, attended by Home Minister Amit Shah, Bihar in-charge Vinod Tawde, Bihar BJP state president Dilip Jaiswal, and several other party leaders from Bihar.

In addition, discussions with alliance partners were held to finalize seat-sharing arrangements. Hindustani Awam Morcha chief Jitan Ram Manjhi met J.P. Nadda in the afternoon. Reports indicate that the seat-sharing agreement is expected to be finalized by the evening.

Before the meeting at Nadda’s residence, Bihar BJP President Dilip Jaiswal told the media that the NDA has been moving forward with steadfast unity and that everything will be finalized by evening.

It is noteworthy that all Bihar NDA leaders are present in Delhi today. Along with Jitan Ram Manjhi, Upendra Kushwaha and Chirag Paswan are also in Delhi for deliberations.

The Bihar Assembly elections will be held in two phases for a total of 243 seats. The first phase of voting is scheduled for November 6, and the second phase on November 11, with counting of votes on November 14. The last date for filing nominations for the first phase is October 17.
