Bhubaneswar, 1 October (H.S.): In a tragic road mishap, three youths lost their lives after the motorcycle they were riding collided head-on with a speeding container truck near PN College on the National Highway in Khordha during the early hours of Wednesday.

Eyewitnesses reported that the victims were riding on the wrong side of the road and were not wearing helmets, which likely aggravated the severity of their injuries.

Preliminary information suggests that the deceased were residents of the Delanga area in Puri district. However, their identities are yet to be officially confirmed.

Following the incident, Industrial Police seized the container truck and detained its driver for questioning. Officials said a detailed investigation is underway to ascertain the exact cause of the accident and take necessary legal action.
