Bhubaneswar, 1 October (H.S.): The Nandankanan Zoological Park and State Botanical Garden in Bhubaneswar have revised their operating hours for the winter season.

As per the new schedule, effective from October 1, 2025, the park and garden will remain open from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. These timings will continue until March 31, 2026. Authorities have also clarified that the park will remain closed every Monday for maintenance.

The change in schedule has been introduced to better accommodate the rising number of tourists and visitors during the cooler months. Nandankanan, a major attraction in Odisha, draws large crowds every year for its rich biodiversity, including the famed white tigers, lion safari, and extensive collection of flora at the botanical garden.

Officials expressed hope that the revised timings will provide a more comfortable experience for visitors while ensuring smooth management of facilities during the peak season.
