Kolhapur, 01 Oct (HS): The slab of under construction building of the Fire

Brigade under the Kolhapur Municipal Corporation collapsed on Tuesday night

killing one labourer. Eight other workers were injured in the accident.

Municipal Administrator K Manjulaxmi appointed Additional Commissioner

Ravikant Adsul and City Engineer Ramesh Maskar to enquire about the cause of

the accident, and quality of construction and material used.

The injured were immediately rushed to CPR Hospital. Ex-MLA Ruturaj

Patil, District Collector Amol Yedge, SP Yogesh Kumar Gupta and senior

municipal officers rushed to the accident site.
