Bengaluru/Delhi, 1 October (H.S.): Mallikarjun Kharge, President of the All India Congress Committee, experienced a sudden deterioration in his health on Wednesday, necessitating immediate hospitalization at MS Ramaiah Hospital in Bengaluru.

Sources indicated that Kharge was admitted following complaints of breathing difficulties attributed to his recent travels, including visits to Bihar and other locations. Medical evaluations included routine examinations and an ECG test.

Kharge is expected to remain under observation at the hospital today as doctors continue to monitor his condition.
