New Delhi, October 1 (HS): Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta on Wednesday paid tribute to senior Bharatiya Janata Party leader Prof. Vijay Kumar Malhotra at the Delhi BJP headquarters on Pandit Pant Marg. Malhotra passed away on Tuesday at AIIMS, Delhi.
Posting on X today, the Chief Minister wrote, “His demise is an irreparable loss for the people of Delhi and the BJP family of Delhi. His entire life, enriched with simplicity, service, sacrifice, and dedication to the organization, stands as a living example of Indian politics and organizational discipline.”
The Chief Minister further said, “As the first president of the Delhi BJP unit, Prof. Vijay Kumar Malhotra laid the foundation of the organization on the pillars of ideology, integrity, and values. Along with connecting workers, he instilled confidence in them and gave the organization the character of a family. His passing is not only a personal loss of a guide for me but has also left a void in the organization that will be extremely difficult to fill.”
