Bengaluru/Delhi, October 1 (HS): Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge has been admitted to a hospital here for the implantation of a pacemaker, his son and Karnataka Minister Priyank Kharge informed. He said that his father’s condition is stable.

Priyank wrote on social media platform X, “Mallikarjun Kharge was advised to undergo pacemaker implantation and he has now been admitted to the hospital for the same. His condition is stable and he is doing well. Heartfelt thanks to all for your concerns and wishes.”

According to party sources, there is nothing to worry about, and the Congress President’s health is completely under control under the supervision of doctors. Earlier, the party had stated that Kharge was suffering from fever and leg pain, following which he was admitted to a hospital in Bengaluru.
