Nagaon (Assam), March 28 (HS): A moving bus caught fire on Nagaon bypass. The fire broke out in Ratnagiri Night Super. The bus was going from Golaghat to Guwahati at night. The passengers of the bus barely saved their lives.

As soon as the Night Super bus, going towards Guwahati at high speed, reached Nagaon bypass, there was a loud noise and after that the two rear wheels of the bus caught fire. There was panic among the passengers. Amidst the chaos the passengers came out of the bus.

However, the lives of more than 40 passengers were saved. After receiving information about the incident, the fire brigade vehicle reached the spot and extinguished the fire. It is not yet known whether there was a technical fault or some other fault caused the fire.
