Guwahati, 09 June (HS): Guwahati Mayor Mrigen Sarania attended a review meeting with officials of all departments of the New Guwahati subdivision in the presence of newly elected New Guwahati MLA Diplu Ranjan Sharma. The meeting focused on assessing key civic and developmental issues affecting the constituency.

During the discussion, various public concerns, including flood-related challenges, were reviewed. The participants also deliberated on measures to address drinking water problems in different areas. A significant and positive decision was reportedly taken to improve the drinking water supply system.

The meeting was attended by New Guwahati Sub-Divisional Commissioner Arundhati Narah Mipun, along with officials from various departments and members of the council. The participants discussed coordinated efforts to ensure effective implementation of development initiatives and timely resolution of public grievances in the constituency.----------
