New Delhi,06 June(HS):Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta attended the “Youth for Viksit Bharat – Mera Bharat Youth Conclave,” organized by the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports at Thyagaraj Stadium on Saturday. The event witnessed the participation of more than 6,000 young people from across the country and was attended by Union Minister for Youth Affairs and Sports Mansukh Mandaviya, Youth Affairs Secretary Pallavi Jain Govil, and several distinguished personalities from diverse fields.

Addressing young entrepreneurs, athletes, artists, content creators, UPSC aspirants, and achievers from various sectors, the Chief Minister said the platform was a true celebration of India’s youth power. Praising the event, she remarked that the presence of so many talented young individuals and inspirational personalities from different walks of life gave the gathering the appearance of “stars on earth.”

She stated that when young entrepreneurs, sportspersons, artists, public representatives, content creators, and candidates who have succeeded in highly competitive examinations such as the UPSC share the same platform, it becomes a powerful reflection of India’s diverse talent and limitless potential.

Congratulating Dr. Mandaviya for the initiative, Gupta said that the Mera Bharat Youth Conclave has emerged not only as a platform for recognizing young achievers but also as an important forum for inspiring them to contribute to nation-building.

The Chief Minister emphasized that the event demonstrated that India’s youth are fully prepared to shoulder the nation’s responsibilities. She noted that one of India’s greatest strengths is its youthful population, which is hardworking, visionary, creative, and courageous.

According to Gupta, Indian youth have established new benchmarks across sectors including sports, entrepreneurship, arts, technology, content creation, education, and public administration. She said that every success story is built on relentless hard work, discipline, and dedication, and that these very qualities are propelling India toward becoming a developed nation.

Calling upon young people to play an active role in national development, she said that if every young citizen takes one step forward, the nation of 1.4 billion people advances with the same momentum. She asserted that youth will have the most significant role in realizing Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of “Viksit Bharat 2047.”

Urging young Indians to dedicate their energy, talent, and innovative abilities to the service of the nation, Gupta said that while not everyone may get an opportunity to die for the country, every citizen certainly has the opportunity to live for it and contribute to its progress.

Expressing confidence in India’s younger generation, she concluded that the country’s youth power will serve as the strongest foundation for achieving the vision of a developed India by 2047.
