24 May (HS): State Minister of Basic Education (Independent Charge) Sandeep

Singh participated in the Education and Career Fair 2026 program and interacted with students, parents, and education experts. On this

occasion, he encouraged youth to prepare themselves for the new education

policy, skill development, technical education, and the changing global

landscape.

Addressing

the youth present at the event, Minister Singh said that the country is moving

forward with the goal of a developed India, in line with the Prime

Minister's Vision 2047. He said that India is a nation of youth, and the

government's effort is to ensure that every youth receives quality education

and proper guidance, enabling them to improve their future.

He

said that under the leadership of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, the state

government is continuously working to strengthen and ensure a results-oriented

education system. Expenditure on education is never wasted; rather, it serves

as the strongest foundation for nation-building.

Minister

Singh stated that extensive reforms have been made in the education sector in

recent years. Compared to earlier times, positive changes are now visible in

the education system, and public confidence in government schools has

increased. He noted that while there was previously hesitation about government

schools, the situation is now changing, and parents' interest has increased. He

also stated that the government's effort is to ensure that education does not

become a medium for politics, but rather, it is solely a means of building

children's futures. He also appealed to society that better results can be

achieved by partnering with the government in the field of education.

Minister

Singh stated that an NCERT-based curriculum has been implemented and structural

changes have been made to improve the quality of education. He added that the

results of the improvements in the education system are clearly visible in

various surveys. He stated that the government's goal is to provide every

student in Uttar Pradesh with modern education, technical knowledge, and

employable skills, enabling them to compete at the national and global levels.
