(HS): Brijbhushan Sharan Singh
expressed concern in Gonda over the Iran-Israel war. He said that for the first
time, so many countries are directly or indirectly in a state of conflict. This
has increased global instability and dialogue is the only solution. Former MP
Brijbhushan Sharan Singh participated in the Tharu tribe's Holi celebrations at
his ancestral home in Vishnoharpur, Gonda, Uttar Pradesh, on Tuesday.
Members
of the Tharu community, who had come from Balrampur and Shravasti, presented
captivating performances of traditional folk songs and dances. The former MP
was seen dancing with the community to the beats of colors and drums. In his
closing address, Brijbhushan Sharan Singh appealed for a celebration of Holi
with brotherhood and harmony. He honored members of the Tharu community with
robes and cash. Speaking to the media, the former MP expressed deep concern
over the growing tensions between Iran, Israel, and the United States. He said
that for the first time, so many countries are directly or indirectly in a
state of conflict, which has increased global instability.
He
said that war is not good for anyone under any circumstances. Everyone must
adopt the path of dialogue. So much destruction has already occurred. The
extent of the damage that will occur in the future is a matter of concern. The
former MP said that even in many countries considered safe, there is panic. A
large number of Indian citizens are working in Gulf countries. Therefore, the
situation there is also affecting the people of India and their families. He
appealed to all parties to exercise restraint and adopt the path of peace and
dialogue.
