The women's hockey teams from Korea and Wales have arrived in Hyderabad for the FIH Hockey Women's World Cup 2026 Qualifier, an eight-nation event running from March 8 to 14, where three teams will secure spots at the finals in Belgium and Netherlands.Led by captain Lee Yuri, Korea brings experience from nine World Cup campaigns and aims to reclaim their best finish—a bronze in 1990.

Wales, fresh off a runner-up spot at the 2025 Euro

Hockey Championship II, seeks their first World Cup appearance since 1983.Tournament Pools and StakesKorea joins Pool A alongside England, Italy, and Austria. Wales features in Pool B with hosts India, Scotland, and Uruguay.
