Domestic bullion markets witnessed a downturn in gold prices during trading today, with rates falling by ₹2,520 to ₹3,175 per 10 grams, while silver recorded a robust surge to ₹20,200 per kilogram.In most Indian markets, 24-carat gold traded between ₹1,69,915 and ₹1,70,065 per 10 grams, and 22-carat gold ranged from ₹1,56,140 to ₹1,56,290 per 10 grams. Silver, buoyed by the rally, crossed ₹3 lakh in Delhi at ₹3,15,100 per kilogram.

City-Wise Breakdown

A day before Holi, Delhi saw 24-carat gold at ₹1,70,065 and 22-carat at ₹1,56,290 per 10 grams. Mumbai quoted 24-carat at ₹1,69,915 and 22-carat at ₹1,56,140, while Ahmedabad listed 24-carat at ₹1,69,965 and 22-carat at ₹1,56,190 per 10 grams.

Chennai and Kolkata both pegged 24-carat gold at ₹1,69,915 and 22-carat at ₹1,56,140 per 10 grams. Bhopal mirrored Ahmedabad's rates, Lucknow and Jaipur matched Delhi's at ₹1,70,065 for 24-carat and ₹1,56,290 for 22-carat, and Patna aligned with Ahmedabad.

Similar softness prevailed in Bengaluru, Hyderabad, and Bhubaneswar, with 24-carat at ₹1,69,915 and 22-carat at ₹1,56,140 per 10 grams.
