Lucknow,
7 Dec (HS): An employment fair was organized at the Government Industrial
Training Institute (ITI) in Aliganj, Lucknow, the capital of Uttar Pradesh, to
provide youth with jobs under the Prime Minister's Internship Scheme. The
Modi-Yogi government is engaged in a campaign to provide employment and jobs to
as many young people as possible. At this fair, 476 young people were offered
jobs.
The
officials of the regional employment department actively supported this job
fair organized in Lucknow under the Prime Minister's Internship Scheme. Youths
started arriving here since morning in the hope of getting a job and the selection
process continued. Officials from several companies related to vehicle
manufacturing had come with the intention of selecting trained youth for about
1500 posts and about 600 youth registered their presence. The youth had to go
through several stages of the selection process. However, during this time many
youth were not able to provide even basic information related to their course.
In such a situation, the officials who had come with the offers were also
disappointed.
476
youth got jobs: Principal of ITI Lucknow, Rajkumar, said that 33 companies from
across the country and the state had come to the employment fair for
placements. More than 600 candidates had come to participate in the selection
process for approximately 1,500 posts. After completion of all the procedures,
476 youth have been given job offers. He said that the selected candidates will
be given a salary of Rs 10,000 to Rs 27,000 by the company, along with lunch,
dress and necessary medical facilities. He said that this employment fair was
organized under the Prime Minister's Internship Scheme.
Such
events will continue to take place: MA Khan, placement officer at the
Government ITI, Aliganj, Lucknow, stated that a large number of candidates have
secured good jobs, and the job fair is yielding positive results. He added that
many young people often forget technical knowledge due to long training gaps,
while some private institutions are also failing to provide up-to-date
training. Such young people are often unable to succeed at job fairs. He added
that job fairs will continue to be held.
