
MUMBAI, 13 November (H.S.): The Ajinkya Naik panel has registered a resounding victory in the Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA) elections, with Naik being re-elected unopposed as President for a second consecutive term. His panel successfully secured 12 out of the total 16 posts.
Following the declaration of results on Wednesday night, Naik commented, This victory belongs to our ground clubs, secretaries, and every cricketer—both men and women. It is a win for the entire Mumbai cricket family.
Ajinkya Naik's campaign was notably supported by Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis and former MCA, BCCI, and ICC President Sharad Pawar.
This success was made possible with the strong support of the Honorable Chief Minister, Mr. Devendra Fadnavis, and Mr. Sharad Pawar, Naik stated. I also want to express my special gratitude to Mr. Ashish Shelar. Naik's panel contested the election under the Pawar-Shelar Group banner.
