New Delhi, December 11 (HS): Global markets are showing signs of weakness on Wednesday.

US markets closed with a decline during the last session. Dow Jones futures are also seen trading with weakness on Wednesday.

There was selling pressure in the European market during the last session. Mixed trading is taking place in Asian markets today.

Before the Consumer Price Index data came out, there was continuous pressure in the US market during the last session. Dow Jones closed with a decline for the fourth consecutive day.

Similarly, the S&P 500 index ended the last session's trading at 6,034.91 points with a decline of 0.30 percent. Apart from this, Nasdaq closed at 19,688.98 points with a weakness of 0.24 percent. Dow Jones Futures is currently trading at 44,219.50 points, down 0.06 percent.

Weakness remained in the European market during the last session as well. The FTSE index closed at 8,280.36 points, down 0.87 percent. Similarly, the CAC index ended the last session at 7,394.78 points, down 1.15 percent. Apart from this, the DAX index closed at 20,329.16 points, down 0.08 percent.

Mixed trading is seen in Asian markets today. Out of 9 Asian markets, 5 indices are trading in the green with gains, while 4 indices are in the red with decline. The Nikkei index is trading at 39,238.23 points, down 129.35 points or 0.33 percent. Similarly, Taiwan Weighted Index has slipped 149.32 points or 0.65 percent to reach the level of 22,975.76 points. Apart from this, Straits Times Index is trading at the level of 3,794.28 points with a weakness of 0.51 percent and Hang Seng Index is trading at the level of 20,310.34 points with a symbolic slippage of 0.94 points. On the other hand, GIFT Nifty is trading at the level of 24,696 points with a marginal gain of 0.04 percent. Similarly, Kospi Index has jumped 0.70 percent to reach the level of 2,434.88 points. Apart from this, the SET Composite Index is trading at the level of 1,448.45 points with a gain of 0.06 percent, the Jakarta Composite Index is trading at the level of 7,507.22 points with a jump of 0.72 percent and the Shanghai Composite Index is trading at the level of 3,430.25 points with a gain of 0.22 percent.
