New Delhi, 11 December (H.S.): On Wednesday, an Aam Aadmi Party delegation led by Arvind Kejriwal met with the Election Commission to address allegations of mass voter deletions ahead of the Delhi Assembly elections.
Kejriwal, who is also the party's national convenor, accused the BJP of orchestrating a conspiracy to remove voters, particularly those from marginalized communities such as Dalits, Scheduled Castes, and Purvanchalis, from the electoral roll.
He claimed that BJP workers had submitted applications to delete thousands of voters' names in various assembly constituencies, depriving them of their rights as Indian citizens.
The meeting with the Election Commission was an effort by the Aam Aadmi Party to bring attention to this issue and ensure fair and free elections in Delhi.
