New Delhi, 14 May (H.S): Delhi government on Saturday has announced a compensation of Rs 10 lakh to the families of the dead and Rs 50,000 to the injured in the fire accident at Mundka.
A massive fire broke out in a three-storey building in outer Delhi's Mundka area on Friday night. 27 people died in this fierce fire, while 12 people were injured. Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia visited the spot at around 11.30 am on Saturday. After taking information from the officials, the Chief Minister ordered a judicial inquiry into the accident.
According to DCP Sameer Sharma, 29 people have been reportedly missing to the police station. These include 24 women and five men.
