
Chandrapur, 09 June (HS): Five youth are feared drowned in Wardha River
in Ghuggus city of Chandrapur district. Three bodies were recovered while
search for other two were in progress. The youths in 18 to 20 years of age had
gone for swimming and did not return. Their clothes and mobile phones were
found on the banks of the river.
The residents of India Nagar in Ghuggus went for
swimming in Wardha River near Chandur. As they did not return the family
members started searching for them. Police and district administration were
also informed about the missing youths. During search operation three bodies
were recovered.
The five have been identified as Samyak Devrao
Sontakke (18), Sunny Ashok Asmpelli (19), Rohit Babarao Bobde (19), Shiv
Bhaskar Kelzarkar (19), and Tanmay Navnath Pathade (18). The search operation
was in progress.
