Guwahati, 09 June (HS): Assam is set to witness the launch of the ambitious Blue Valley Cluster Project on Tuesday as Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma holds a meeting with a visiting delegation from the European Union.

The European Union delegation arrived in Assam on Monday and visited the semiconductor manufacturing project of Tata Electronics at Jagiroad in Morigaon district. Several key issues related to industrial cooperation and investment opportunities were discussed during the visit.

After returning from Morigaon, the delegation reached Guwahati, where the Assam government hosted an official reception and cultural programme in their honour on Monday evening.

Sharing details on social media platform X, Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma expressed confidence that Tuesday would mark a new chapter in India-European Union relations with the formal launch of the Blue Valley Cluster Project in Assam.

The project is expected to strengthen cooperation between Assam and the European Union while opening new avenues for sustainable economic growth and industrial development in the state.------------
