Guwahati, 09 June (HS): Assam Chief Minister Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma on Monday night hosted an official dinner for the visiting delegation from the European Union, highlighting the state's rich cultural heritage, traditional cuisine, music, and renowned hospitality.

Sharing details of the event, the Chief Minister said it was a privilege to welcome the delegation on behalf of the people of Assam and present the state's vibrant traditions and immense potential before an international audience. He described the occasion as a matter of pride and a valuable opportunity to strengthen ties with European partners.

Dr. Sarma expressed confidence that the launch of the Blue Valley Cluster Project in Assam would mark a new chapter in India-European Union relations. He said the initiative is expected to open fresh avenues for farmers, entrepreneurs and the youth while promoting economic cooperation and sustainable development.
