Amalner, 09 June (HS): Six people including five from the same family

died in road accident involving three vehicles. The accident occurred in

Mangrul village in Amalner Tehasil of Jalgaon District on Tuesday morning when a

car collided with a State Transport bus and a two-wheeler. The collision was so

harsh that the car was completely mangled and the five travelling in the car

died. Only a child in the car survived miraculously. The two-wheeler borne

local individual also died on the accident site.

The ill-fated Vyara family from Gujarat was going to Amalner to attend an

engagement ceremony.

On getting the information Amalner police rushed to the accident site

and initiated the rescue operation. The injured, including passenger in the State

Transport bus, Deepak Dilip Patil.

The traffic on the road was affected for some time. The relatives of

Vyara family were informed about the accident. The cause of the accident was

not immediately known.

Police have initiated investigation. The identity of the deceased was

not established.
