Nagaon, 27 May (HS): A tragic road accident took place at Rangalu in Assam’s Nagaon leaving two bike riders dead on the spot and injuring two women pedestrians.

According to reports on Wednesday, the incident occurred when the victims were returning home after Eid shopping. A speeding motorcycle allegedly lost control after hitting two women pedestrians and rammed into a divider on the road.

The both motorcycle riders killed on the spot due to the impact of the crash. The deceased have been identified as Rakibul Hussain and Ikramul Haque.

The two injured women pedestrians were rushed to a hospital in Nagaon in critical condition for treatment.

Police reached the spot soon after the incident and initiated an investigation into the accident. Details of the motorcycle registration number are yet to be confirmed.-----------
