
New Delhi, May 27 (H.S.): Gold prices witnessed a downward trend in the domestic bullion market during early trading on Tuesday. However, silver prices remained unchanged for the second consecutive day. Owing to the decline in gold prices, the yellow metal became cheaper by ₹470 to ₹510 per 10 grams across most parts of the country.
Following the decline, 24-carat gold was trading between ₹1,58,880 and ₹1,60,680 per 10 grams in bullion markets across the country. Similarly, 22-carat gold was being sold in the range of ₹1,45,640 to ₹1,47,290 per 10 grams. On the other hand, with no change in silver prices, the white metal continued to trade at ₹2,84,900 per kilogram in the Delhi bullion market.
In Delhi, 24-carat gold was trading at ₹1,59,030 per 10 grams, while the price of 22-carat gold stood at ₹1,45,790 per 10 grams. In the country’s financial capital Mumbai, 24-carat gold was being sold at ₹1,58,880 per 10 grams and 22-carat gold at ₹1,45,640 per 10 grams. Similarly, in Ahmedabad, the retail price of 24-carat gold was recorded at ₹1,58,930 per 10 grams, while 22-carat gold was priced at ₹1,45,690 per 10 grams.
Apart from these major cities, in Chennai, 24-carat gold was trading at ₹1,60,680 per 10 grams and 22-carat gold at ₹1,47,290 per 10 grams. Likewise, in Kolkata, 24-carat gold was available at ₹1,58,880 per 10 grams, while 22-carat gold was trading at ₹1,45,640 per 10 grams. In Bhopal, the price of 24-carat gold stood at ₹1,58,930 per 10 grams, whereas 22-carat gold was being sold at ₹1,45,690 per 10 grams.
In Jaipur, 24-carat gold was trading at ₹1,59,030 per 10 grams and 22-carat gold at ₹1,45,790 per 10 grams. In Patna, 24-carat gold was priced at ₹1,58,930 per 10 grams, while 22-carat gold stood at ₹1,45,690 per 10 grams. In Lucknow’s bullion market, 24-carat gold was trading at ₹1,59,030 per 10 grams and 22-carat gold at ₹1,45,790 per 10 grams.
Like other parts of the country, bullion markets in Karnataka, Telangana and Odisha also witnessed weakness in gold prices on Tuesday. In the capitals of these three states — Bengaluru, Hyderabad and Bhubaneswar — 24-carat gold was trading at ₹1,58,880 per 10 grams. Similarly, 22-carat gold in these cities was being sold at ₹1,45,640 per 10 grams.
