Chachar (Assam), 07 August (HS): The deadline to apply for the Governor Assam Pratibha Protsahan Yojana 2025-26 — a flagship civil services coaching scheme — has been extended to August 10. The initiative, spearheaded by the Hon’ble Governor of Assam in collaboration with Arya Pratibha Vikas Sansthan, aims to support ten meritorious UPSC aspirants from the state with fully funded coaching in New Delhi.
Under the scheme, selected candidates will be trained at top coaching institutes including Vision IAS, Vajiram & Ravi, Next IAS, ALS IAS, Shubhra Ranjan IAS, Drishti IAS, and Sunya IAS Academy. All expenses will be covered by the scheme, removing financial barriers for deserving candidates.
Applicants will undergo a three-stage selection process, beginning with a written screening test scheduled for August 24. Results will be announced on August 31. Group counselling will be held on September 14, followed by personal interviews on September 15. The coaching programme is expected to commence on September 24.
Raj Bhavan has urged applicants to regularly check the official website for updates, including test results and final selection notices. Failure to stay informed will not be considered a valid excuse.
The Governor Assam Pratibha Protsahan Yojana reflects the state’s commitment to inclusive and merit-based civil services preparation, aiming to empower Assam’s youth to compete nationally and join the country’s top administrative services.
