Bhubaneswar, 19 July (H.S.): Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan paid rich tributes to Mangal Pandey, the valiant freedom fighter and a key figure in the 1857 uprising, on his birth anniversary.

In a message shared on social media, Pradhan said, I offer my heartfelt tributes to Mangal Pandey, the great freedom fighter and a pioneer of the 1857 revolution. His courage, patriotism, and supreme sacrifice are etched in golden letters in Indian history.

He described Pandey as a symbol of India’s pride, resistance, and identity, adding that his unwavering nationalism continues to inspire every Indian with a sense of pride and patriotism.
