Nagpur, 19 July (HS): Nagpur police have registered

an offence against a social media user for allegedly making defamatory claims

against the city’s traffic police. The social media user on Instagram

posted a controversial remark against the traffic police.

The comment posted on the Instagram ID @399-9-98

states, “Traffic police avoid areas where signals are dysfunctional and do not

take action against pubs and bars on Wardha Road operating late into the night.

The person also hinted at bribe-taking by the police.

The police have registered an offence and have confirmed

the Instagram account holder. Further action is awaited.
